Summer is Flying By!!

Can you believe it that we’re already into August? Where has this summer gone? Hot, sometimes smoky here in town and crowds seem down for summer. We have been so lucky this summer to have new inventory coming to the shop on a regular basis. We have had a few guests bring in items for us to purchase and we have been to a few estate sales, garage sales and we love thrifting at a few stores too.

The end of August, we will be closed here as were taking our travel trailer in for some minor service and time with our family in Colorado. You know that some picking will also be on the list of things to do. We are planning on selling at The Great Junk Hunt in Salem, OR - Oct. 16 & 17, 2026. We leave this and head out on our multiple state trip to buy! Round Top, Texas for the Fall Show is already on our list.

We have just opened an Etsy shop along with our website for your shopping pleasure. Artwork has really been a hit for the shop and we just shipped off three Michael Grow Originals to Chicago. Fall is going to be here before we know it and I am really looking forward to that season.

These three are hand carved, hand painted by Horace “Hi” Crandall (Westwood, CA) ca. 1933. These are going to be auctioned off in November in by Guyette & Deeter, Inc. in Maryland.
